1. Kegel Trainer
I never was very good at remembering to do my pelvic floor exercises whilst I was pregnant… until I found this app! Yes it seems there really is an app for everything these days!!!
It reminds you to do your exercises and guides you through when to ‘SQUEEZE!’ and when to relax 😂
This is a guided meditation app and I love it 💛 You can choose how long you want to meditate for (I always go for 10 minutes) and it tells you what to do and is really easy to follow.
Andy’s voice is really calming and it keeps track of how many hours you have spent meditating.
You do have to pay a subscription, but you can try the first 10 sessions for free, to see if it’s your cup of tea… or not.
This app makes a list of all my ‘cleaning jobs’ and generally makes me feel like a lazy slob (when it kindly tells me it’s been 28 days since I last did any ironing). But I do find it motivating and love ticking off a job when I’ve done it!
You can personalise it with any jobs you want and set a frequency, for example hoovering every day or cleaning the microwave once a week.
I do wonder if I’ll ever make it to the end of the list though…
4. Account Tracker
When I used to have an office job, I found it easy to keep a spreadsheet to keep track of my finances as I was sat at a computer all day. However now all I have is my phone and my iPad and I really miss my obsessive budgeting!
I like to set a budget and know exactly how much money I have and exactly how much I have to spend over the next few months.
This account tracker app is the best one I have found, you can have multiple accounts on it, set up recurring transactions and it even creates pie charts to show you what you are spending your money on each month!
I’m sure you’ve heard of the Free Prints app, where you can order ‘free’ photos (you just have to pay postage). Well this is the same company, but they give you a ‘free’ photobook every month. Again, you just have to pay the postage.
This is the easiest app I have found to create photo books from the photos on my phone and it reminds me each month to make one. I love this so my photos don’t just get ‘lost’ on my phone.
