I failed πŸ‘ŽπŸ» But it wasn’t my fault…!

This week I was trying to cut out all the naughty snacks I usually consume on a daily basis. As the title suggests – I failed πŸ™ˆ

I am, however, rather pleased with myself as I massively reduced the amount of biscuits and cakes I would normally eat πŸ’ͺ🏻 and I’m pretty sure that’s the reason my tummy is nice and flat, rather than bloated as usual, today! πŸ˜€

I took a ‘raw fruit’ bar to work to eat at break time… it was disgusting. Don’t waste your money 🀒

By lunch I was desperate for a chocolate biscuit. Got home and tried this cute little pack of nuts and seeds, but they just were not hacking it πŸ˜•

Matt went to the corner shop for milk and came back with THIS! You’ve got to be kidding me… of course I couldn’t resist πŸ™„

I am therefore placing all responsibility on Matt for my failing on day 2 😑

Been in a right grump all day. I’m sure chocolate would have fixed this issue.

I managed to stay strong though! Go Kate!! My bruscetta snack was pretty yummy πŸ˜‹

Definitely found it much easier today! I didn’t even consider a sweet treat after my tea πŸ‘πŸ» Have I broken my habit?!

No, I have not broken my habit. Mint Matchmakers in the staff room have broken me…

No chocolate for me today! On a Saturday too!

I was more than happy with my banana πŸ‘πŸ»

I have made it!

Well, I did have a spoon of Nutella in my porridge again today πŸ™Š Buuut it’s Sunday!
I really hope I can keep to my ‘reduced biscuit’ eating habits.

Did you know…?

*Sugar can eat away at your brain power, in particular your memory. Maybe I don’t still have baby brain, but I have sugar brain! πŸ™„

*You are less likely to get Alzheimer’s and dementia. My Nan is suffering with this at the moment πŸ˜”

*Increased sugar intake has links to depression and anxiety 😲 Maybe it might help with my anxiety over making more than 1 plan/arrangement/outing in the same Whatsapp chain…

*Too much sugar can make your skin dull and wrinkled πŸ‘΅πŸ»

*Sugar can make you sluggish and tired; kicking the habit can give you more energy … perhaps I’ll be able to kick my other habit of an afternoon nap 😴

*Diets high in sugar can lower your immune system πŸ€’πŸ€§πŸ˜·

If you were trying to reduce your sugar intake too, please do let me know how you got on!
