This week I was trying to cut out all the naughty snacks I usually consume on a daily basis. As the title suggests – I failed 🙈
I am, however, rather pleased with myself as I massively reduced the amount of biscuits and cakes I would normally eat 💪🏻 and I’m pretty sure that’s the reason my tummy is nice and flat, rather than bloated as usual, today! 😀

By lunch I was desperate for a chocolate biscuit. Got home and tried this cute little pack of nuts and seeds, but they just were not hacking it 😕

I am therefore placing all responsibility on Matt for my failing on day 2 😡

I managed to stay strong though! Go Kate!! My bruscetta snack was pretty yummy 😋

Definitely found it much easier today! I didn’t even consider a sweet treat after my tea 👏🏻 Have I broken my habit?!

No, I have not broken my habit. Mint Matchmakers in the staff room have broken me…

I was more than happy with my banana 👍🏻

I have made it!
Well, I did have a spoon of Nutella in my porridge again today 🙊 Buuut it’s Sunday!
I really hope I can keep to my ‘reduced biscuit’ eating habits.
Did you know…?
*Sugar can eat away at your brain power, in particular your memory. Maybe I don’t still have baby brain, but I have sugar brain! 🙄
*You are less likely to get Alzheimer’s and dementia. My Nan is suffering with this at the moment 😔
*Increased sugar intake has links to depression and anxiety 😲 Maybe it might help with my anxiety over making more than 1 plan/arrangement/outing in the same Whatsapp chain…
*Too much sugar can make your skin dull and wrinkled 👵🏻
*Sugar can make you sluggish and tired; kicking the habit can give you more energy … perhaps I’ll be able to kick my other habit of an afternoon nap 😴
*Diets high in sugar can lower your immune system 🤒🤧😷
